The former financial services chair of Venable and alumnus of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is joining Blank Rome in Washington, D.C., where he expects to play an active role in growing the firm’s consumer finance practice.

Partner R. Andrew Arculin said in an interview Monday that he looks forward to cross-pollinating with other members of Blank Rome’s multidisciplinary financial services practice, with lawyers in mortgage lending, mergers and acquisitions and financial litigation rounding out his offerings to clients.
