The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is one step closer to having its first Black judge.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 16-6 to move Perkins Coie partner Tiffany Cunningham’s nomination to the Federal Circuit, which appeals patent cases from all over the country, to the Senate floor. There was little discussion and no criticism.
