Michael Vernick, the head of the government contracts practice group at Hogan Lovells, has moved to Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, where he will lead the firm’s government contracts practice as a partner in Washington, D.C.
Vernick, who joined Akin Gump on Monday, said the move is good for his clients because of depth and breadth of his new firm’s False Claims Act, government contracts and life sciences practices.
