Lex Machina offers tools that are designed to enable its users to make more informed—or as they call it, data-driven—decisions. Today, the company has announced a trio of apps that will apply the company’s experience processing and analyzing unstructured legal information to specific legal challenges, including pre-trial intelligence, motion strategy and patent evaluation.
“We’re launching what we call ‘Custom Insight Apps,’” Owen Byrd, GC and Chief Evangelist of Lex Machina, told Legaltech News. “These apps are intended to address the greatest challenge for lawyers, which is the ‘need for speed.’ We’re trying to enable lawyers to get instant answers on specific use cases out of our data, and make it easier and faster for them to apply it to their work.”
