I do a lot of work around my house, but there are certain items I tend to like and others I really don’t gravitate towards. For example, I really don’t mind cleaning, cooking or ironing, but I don’t care for the task of remaking a bed or emptying a dishwasher. Why that is, I know not: that’s just the way it is.

In the technology world, I’ve always found that associates pretty much consider user testing to be one of those tasks they really don’t like to do. I get it; banging away on a system is nowhere near as interesting as working with a client to spec out a system, putting your heads together with technical folks to build a system, or meeting an important business need with a report or new system feature.
