The impact of Italy-based cybersecurity group the Hacking Team’s data breach has led to a number of revelations about the groups involvment with government officials. Now EU officials are raising questions about those relationships.

When the company was breached, its client renewal list was posted online and revealed that its customers include such regimes as: Sudan, Bahrain, Ethiopia, Russia, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
