A technology company can market new software features, but nothing protects the bottom line quite like a patent. And now, jury research and court reporting company Magna Legal Services has one of its own.

On July 9, Magna announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) approved its patent submission for Jury Confirm. The product brings technology to jury research, enabling litigators to convert traditional mock trials into a web-based experience and allowing clients to interact with jurors in real-time. Magna claims that this online alternative offers both increased strategic value and lowered costs to litigators.
