Federal lawmakers must create a legislative framework to address the quickly evolving technology of artificial intelligence, and make sure they make no mistakes along the way, a leading senator in developing AI legislation said Tuesday. 

“Now, it’s no secret that artificial intelligence is having a moment in all of our lives,” said Sen. John Hickenlooper, D-Colorado, and chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pension Subcommittee on Workplace and Employment.
