In the legal technology world, it seems the secret ingredient for many companies has become custom variations of generative artificial intelligence—and to keep those confidential, employment contracts may start to look different soon.

Last month, artificial intelligence and contracts review software provider Kira Systems, a subsidiary of Litera, filed a lawsuit against its former Vice President of Global Product Kennan Samman alleging that he broke noncompete and confidentiality agreements.
