Yesterday at the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Conference, legal research giant LexisNexis announced a major enhancement to its Lexis+ research suite: Fact & Issue Finder, a practice-specific feature that aimed at building legal strategies centered around the facts, issues and topics of a case.

The tool allows users to input facts, issues and topics about a case, after which the Fact & Issue Finder will gather relevant content such as case law, practical guidance, verdicts and settlements, expert witness analytics and other practice-specific content. The goal, the company said, is to mimic legal professionals’ research process using search and machine learning technologies.
