Jameson Legal Tech, a unit of the U.K.-based lawyer recruitment firm Jameson Legal, is the latest entrant into the legal tech consultancy ranks, joining LexFusion, online platforms Reynen Court and Orrick’s Observatory and others in helping legal tech buyers find a suitable vendor.

Jameson Legal is opening its network of international law firm and corporate clients acquired during its 12 years of lawyer recruitment to legal tech companies, Jameson Legal Tech head Jon Bartman explained. Like other legal tech consultancies, after a vendor is vetted and selected it pays a membership fee to Jameson Legal Tech. A portion of that vendor’s sales also goes to Jameson Legal Tech if a recommendation turns into a client, Bartman noted.
