Mishcon de Reya’s non-legal business MDR Brand Management has launched an esports and interactive entertainment division, through which it will represent video game players across a wide portfolio.

The brand licencing division has set up NIVO Management, which is headed by associate Tom Murray. The move comes as interest in competitive video gaming continues to grow, following an increase in play and interest during the pandemic. The offering will meet “demand for player centric management that is transparent, and free from conflicts of interest”, a Mishcon statement said.
