Law firms are still taking a hard pass on outsourcing legal services and implementing advanced technology and new processes, according to a Thomson Reuters report. But according to the report, what’s fueling this hesitancy is law firms’ fear of being a “guinea pig” and potentially failing.

Released earlier this month in collaboration with the Georgetown Center on Ethics and the Legal Profession and the Association of Legal Administrators, Thomson Reuters’ “Law Firm Business Leaders Report” surveyed 58 operations and financial officers in U.S. law firms.
