For much of its history, legal research platform Gavelytics has exclusively provided judicial analytics, with an initial focus on California judges. But on Tuesday, the company announced a major expansion of its offering with the release of Gavelytics 2.0.

The updated platform will now feature an array of litigation analytics that looks at the judges, law firms, litigants and individual lawyers in state-level cases. It will also offer a searchable database of legal briefs and related documents.
