Document management and governance software provider iManage announced Monday that it has acquired legal transaction management platform Closing Folders Inc. to automate, manage and analyze the entire dealmaking documentation process.
With its latest acquisition, iManage looks to integrate its document classification and extraction processes into closing books created by Closing Folders. Closing Folders leverages technology to automate the process of creating and signing the documents needed to close a deal, a specialized service iManage didn’t previously offer.
