Argentina has been under a strict isolation regime for many months and is now moving to a social distancing regime in different jurisdictions. This change of regime brings along some changes in the employment rules. 

Here I address the impact on the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires, where most of the multinational companies are based. In addition, the Government extended the employment protection rules that prohibit dismissals and suspensions and create a higher burden for terminations.
