Depending on where you're sitting, being positioned just outside the top 50 in the list of the UK's 100 largest firms by revenue could be seen as either an opportunity or a barrier to success. For TLT, a £41m turnover business with national reach through offices in Bristol and the City (and ranked 65th, in case you were wondering), we think a debate about size and nothing else is missing the point. Size doesn't limit success, it simply limits the number of areas in which you can be successful. It is not possible to be all things to all people. There are already some good examples of firms that may not be the biggest players, but in their chosen fields they are leading the way and reaping the rewards as a result.
