Practice Profile: Deskins Tucker concentrates her practice on complex products liability litigation, with a focus on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. She has represented and defended clients in federal and state courts, including multidistrict litigation, consolidated state court litigation, mass torts, consumer class actions and medical malpractice.
She is the pathology team leader for client C. R. Bard Inc. in its transvaginal mesh litigation. She identified and retained 12 pathology expert witnesses, preparing them to write expert reports and give depositions in the multidistrict litigation. She deposed treating physicians in these cases, supervised a team of attorneys in the development of strategy to challenge plaintiff expert opinions and leads the trial work-up of three of Bard’s cases in New Jersey state court and more than 30 multidistrict litigation cases in the Southeast.
