Esmark Inc., a diversified, privately-held family company, was slapped with a complaint to compel inspection of books and records Tuesday in Delaware Court of Chancery. The court case, filed by Sullivan Hazeltine Allinson and attorney Ardyth Eisenberg on behalf of TNIT LLC f/k/a TN Investment Trust and its member company Aurora Sports Venture Tennis Naples, seeks to inspect Esmark’s quarterly reports and audited financial statements for 2018 and 2019 and obtain minutes from the company’s board meetings. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2022-1151, Tnit, LLC, et al. v. Esmark, Inc.
