Brinker Capital Investments and its corporate parent, GT Polaris G.P., sued two former executives on Wednesday in Delaware Court of Chancery. The suit, brought by Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Smith Katzenstein & Jenkins, accuses Jason Moore and Brendan McConnell of defecting to rival firm Ategenos Capital and raiding the ranks of Brinker Capital in breach of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. The suit, which also names Ategenos, seeks an injunction barring the defendants from competing with the plaintiffs, soliciting their employees or using confidential information. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2022-1034, GT Polaris G.P., LLC vs. Ategenos Capital, LLC.
