Baird Mandalas Brockstedt added Thomas P. Carney to the firm as an associate.

Carney’s legal practice includes real estate and land use law involving a wide range of transactional and litigation matters. He represents individuals and businesses in the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing and development of real property.

A former assistant solicitor of Wilmington, Carney had represented the city as a lender in private and public residential and commercial real estate transactions. During his time as assistant solicitor, Carney represented the city’s Real Estate and Housing Department, Planning Department, Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment and various other boards and commissions of the city.

He obtained his law degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and practiced at one of Delaware’s largest law firms prior to joining Baird Mandalas.
