State Attorney General Matt Denn, Rep. J.J. Johnson, D-New Castle, and Sen. Margaret Rose Henry, D-Wilmington East, proposed legislation March 16 to update the list of crimes classified as violent felonies.
The statute means to ensure that crimes listed as statutory “violent felonies” are truly “violent” as the term is commonly understood.
