Whiteford Taylor Preston announced that bankruptcy attorney Marc Abrams joined the firm as of counsel.

Abrams joins the firm’s Wilmington and New York City offices, where he works in the business reorganizations and bankruptcy group.

He has experience in Chapter 11 cases and nonjudicial restructurings, usually on behalf of debtors; representing creditors’ committees and groups, opportunistic investors and lenders; restructurings involving foreign insolvency regimes and related cases under the Bankruptcy Code.

He is a fellow and board of directors member of the American College of Bankruptcy.
