A Georgia judge was killed in a traffic accident Saturday, according to news reports.
Putnam County Chief Magistrate Ellen Pierce, 62, died from injuries in a 6:30 p.m. crash on Ga. 44 near Eatonton, east of Atlanta. She was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that collided with a Ford F-250 pickup that was pulling a boat, according to reports in the Macon Telegraph’s macon.com news site, as well as other news outlets quoting Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills.
