Cynthia Adams and Darius Pattillo each achieved milestones this year, both in their legal careers and as alumni of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Summer Law Internship Program, which connects high school students with summer legal jobs and mentors.
Adams will be sworn in next week to the Douglas County Superior Court bench, and Pattillo was sworn in last month as the new district attorney for Henry County, making them the first SLIP alumni to become, respectively, a superior court judge and an elected officeholder.
