It had been a tough year for lawyer Jason Marcus, who slowly was slipping into a routine of long days, nights and weekends at the office.

“I saw myself kind of falling into a rut that I see a lot of lawyers fall into,” says 32-year-old Marcus. “I found the only thing I was looking forward to was going home at the end of every night.”
