Fulton County Superior Court Judge Gail Tusan has been elected to serve as the court’s chief judge for at least the next two years. Tusan will assume her duties Feb. 1, replacing Superior Court Judge Cynthia Wright, who was elected in 2010, according to a statement from the court.

The court’s chief judge is elected every two years, with a “retention option” for another two years, according to the court’s statement.
