That Attorney General Merrick Garland is a Swiftie is well-known. So it wasn’t surprising that when he was asked at the American Bar Association’s institute on white-collar crime Wednesday to name his favorite Taylor Swift song, he drew from the lyrics of multiple hits.
“Vigilante S***” from Swift’s “Midnights” album “should be the theme song for white-collar crime,” Garland said. He added that he chose it as the “anthem for this group” but that his favorite song remains “Shake It Off.”
