StarChem USA LLC was slapped with a trademark infringement lawsuit on Oct. 26 in Georgia Middle District Court. The court case, brought by Miles & Stockbridge and Coppedge, Michmerhuizen, Rayburn on behalf of StarChem LLC, contends that StarChem USA’s use of a confusingly similar trade name and domain to the plaintiff’s marks was not authorized by StarChem and has caused confusion in the marketplace. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 5:23-cv-00427, Starchem, LLC v. Starchem USA, LLC.
