Judicial races in Polk and Talbot counties have been decided by Georgia voters following the Dec. 6 runoff election.
In northwestern Georgia’s Polk County Probate Court race, Cedartown attorney Robert “Bobby” Brooks has unseated incumbent interim Judge Shayne Green with 51.18% of the vote. Brooks secured 5,835 votes, compared to the 5,565 ballots casts for Green.
