Former Coweta County Superior Court Judge William “Bill” Hamrick III has been confirmed unanimously by the Georgia House and Senate Judiciary Committee to lead the State-wide Business Court.
Hamrick, appointed to the position by Gov. Brian Kemp in August, spoke about his qualifications at a joint session of the General Assembly’s confirmation hearing Wednesday. State Sen. Bill Cowsert motioned to confirm Hamrick after nobody present had questions for the new appointee.
