Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp named a new judge Friday to fill an opening on the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit Superior Court, which covers only DeKalb County.

DeKalb County Magistrate Court Judge Nora Polk will move up to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Linda Warren Hunter on Jan. 1 of this year.
