Marisa M. Beller and Dana Kristin Maine of Freeman, Mathis & Gary have stepped in to represent the city of Fairburn, Fairburn Officer C. Israel and other defendants in a pending wrongful death lawsuit. The suit was filed May 4 in Georgia Northern District Court by Stewart Trial Attorneys on behalf of the administrator of the estate of a man who was killed during a high-speed police vehicle chase. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge William M. Ray II, is 1:22-cv-01758, Barnes v. City of Fairburn et al.
