In the two weeks since the Georgia Bureau of Investigation charged former Brunswick police officer and district attorney investigator Gregory McMichael, 64, and his son Travis McMichael, 34, with murder and aggravated assault in the death of Ahmaud Arbery, civil rights attorneys representing the victim’s family have been calling for a third arrest—of the neighbor who followed behind Arbery as he ran along a Satilla Shores subdivision road and captured video of him being confronted and ultimately shot to death.

That third arrest came late Thursday.
