Chiquita Brands International reached a confidential settlement Monday with the families of six Americans kidnapped and killed in Colombia in the 1990s by the terrorist organization known as FARC.
The families were seeking potentially tens of millions of dollars in damages from the banana giant because of payments the company made to the group.
