Since joining the Fort Lauderdale office of Kelley Kronenberg in 2012, Valerie Barnhart has developed a flourishing business and commercial litigation practice representing clients in shareholder disputes, contract litigation, secured transactions and corporate formation and dissolution.

In one recent victory, Barnhart, 34, represented the Swap Shop Inc. flea market in Sunrise in a copyright and trademark lawsuit brought by Coach alleging vendors were selling counterfeit goods. Midway through trial, the case settled for $5.5 million, about 6 percent of an estimated $90 million in potential damages.
