Chief Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Joel Brown will leave the bench March 31, three months before his tenure as chief is scheduled to end, to become a partner at Freidin Dobrinsky in Miami. He will focus on civil torts and family matters.
"Phil Freidin is a boyhood friend. We’ve tried cases together," Brown said Tuesday. "For me this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
