More bad news for job hunters in this economy: Federal appellate courts aren’t making it any easier for those looking for work after personal bankruptcies.
The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals joined two other circuits May 17 in ruling private employers are well within their rights to deny jobs to applicants if a background check uncovers a bankruptcy filing.
