The University of Miami School of Law is on its sixth dean in under five years, as David Yellen announced that he will be stepping down at the end of the month — less than two years into his deanship.
Yellen became dean of UMiami Law on July 1, 2022, following two other interim deans who took the position after Anthony Varona, now dean of Seattle University School of Law, was fired in June 2019.
