Attorneys at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders on Friday removed a consumer class action against Ally Financial to Florida Southern District Court. The suit, over alleged breaches of the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, was filed by the Law Offices of Jibrael S. Hindi on behalf of Florida consumers who allegedly received electronic communication pertaining to debt collection between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. The case is 1:22-cv-22016, Valiente v. Ally Financial Inc.
