Why a full-time land use attorney and law firm partner would teach himself filmmaking and traverse the globe for nearly four years to produce a self-funded documentary on the drummer who played with the band that evolved into The Beatles is obvious: Because it hadn’t been done and it ought to be.
That’s the way Tampa lawyer Mark Bentley recounts the origin of “Pre Fab!,” a feature-length documentary on Colin Hanton of The Quarry Men that’s scheduled to kick off the 2022 Florida Film Festival in Orlando on April 8.
