Greenspoon Marder this week announced the hiring of Miami-Dade County Commissioner Keon Hardemon, who joins the firm’s litigation group as a partner.

He arrives within a year of Xavier Suarez, who joined the firm last May as of counsel after nine years on the County Commission and two stints as Miami mayor. But whereas Suarez entertained the idea of becoming a lobbyist in a 2021 interview with the Daily Business Review, Hardemon said he’s totally focused on practicing law.
