Aetna, a health care insurance company, was slapped with an insurance coverage lawsuit Tuesday in Florida Southern District Court. The complaint, filed by Di Pietro Partners on behalf of Vanguard Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery, contends that Aetna reimbursed the plaintiff for medical services at an ‘unreasonably’ low rate. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 0:22-cv-60628, Vanguard Plastic Surgery, PLLC d/b/a Vanguard Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery v. Aetna Life Insurance Company.
