Walmart was slapped with a consumer class action Tuesday in Florida Southern District Court in connection with the manufacture and sale of Equate antiperspirant. The suit, brought by Bursor & Fisher, claims that Equate aerosol and spray products contain dangerously high levels of the carcinogen benzene. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 0:21-cv-62395, Van Der Steeg v. Walmart Inc.
