Akerman's Latin America Co-Chair Defects to Dorsey & Whitney

Dorsey & Whitney recruited Akerman partner Carlos Méndez-Peñate in New York to co-chair its firm’s Latin America and the Caribbean practice group.

At Akerman, Méndez-Peñate served in the same role and was managing partner of the firm’s New York office until May.
