A putative class action lawsuit—alleging novice-friendly stock-trading app Robinhood Financial LLC failed to warn thousands of customers about the possibility of abnormal fluctuations in a company’s stock value—is seeking millions of dollars in damages in Miami-Dade Circuit Court.

Michael Citron of MAC Legal in Hollywood has teamed with Igor Hernandez of Cornish Hernandez Gonzalez in Coral Gables and Ely Levy of Levy & Partners in Hollywood for the litigation. They represent named plaintiff and Miami resident Shterna Pinchasov, who claims Robinhood’s alleged negligence and breach of fiduciary duty caused her to lose more than $3,000.
