A bankruptcy judge approved the sale of Costa Hollywood Beach Resort’s unsold units to $43 million credit bidder Madison Realty Capital after no one qualified to compete with the lender for the property.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Judge A. Jay Cristol in Miami approved the sale Aug. 26 to Madison, which was the stalking-horse bidder that sued the developer to foreclose on the loan it issued for the project. Cristol also confirmed Costa Hollywood’s liquidation plan.
