The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida has postponed all jury trials and grand jury sessions until Jan. 4, 2021, amid COVID-19 concerns.

That also means all trial-related deadlines for criminal cases that would have started before Jan. 4 are continued, according to an order that Chief Judge K. Michael Moore published Wednesday, which said judges can choose to continue trial-specific deadlines for civil cases at their discretion.
