An ardent medical and recreational marijuana legalization proponent, attorney Aaron Romano has fought for advocates like the National Organization of the Reform of Marijuana Law to broaden access to cannabis.

The 45-year-old Romano, who was born and raised in Bloomfield and currently runs Aaron J. Romano P.C., believes marijuana criminalization is rooted in race. Romano said he feels a moral and legal obligation to encourage legislators to legalize it.
