A Shelton business has filed a federal lawsuit against Sun West Mortgage Company claiming the multi-billion dollar enterprise breached its contract and owes more than $800,000 for services rendered.

In its 10-page lawsuit filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Hartford, Clayton Services LLC claims Sun West terminated its contact without proper notice and refused to pay invoices for work done verifying mortgages. The total amount owed, according to the suit, is $818,480.
